I’m in a stream of cold water. The water is terrribly cold, and I’m feeling numb. My thoughts are also an endless stream of matching items. Cold, like the water. I have to keep swimming, or I’ll drown … which actually sounds tempting.

The above is what I came up with participating in onewordâ„¢. It’s a rather simple concept:

However, it’s not as simple to do. Especially not for someone like me, since I’m not exactly a ‘go with the flow’ type of person. I don’t usually dive in. Too much of a chicken for that. I don’t trust my instincts, and I don’t trust my feelings. I want to analyse. Look at things from every possible angle. One of these days, I’ll analyse myself to death.

These images and texts have touched me in one way or another, they've inspired me, made me think, served as a basis for the writing of poetry, etc. If you insist I take one such image or text you consider to be yours and yours only down, contact me, and I might. I'd prefer you to consider my blogging the image or text as a token of recognition, admiration or appreciation though.
